The pro-European momentum generated by the election of President Emmanuel Macron has marked a change in the role France is ready to play in the European project and has re-opened the debate on the future of Europe. Ambitious reforms to create a Europe more economically and politically united, democratic and closer to its citizens are now proposed.
On 20 October the Spinelli Group will hold its next European meet-up in Paris under the title "Together- let’s build a new Europe". On this occasion, the Spinelli Group will bring together national and European politicians, civil society representatives and citizens in order to discuss their expectations on the future of the euro and European defence.
The meet-up will be concluded by a round table with national and European politicians and intellectuals on the role of France in the completion of the European political unity.
Please, note that registration is compulsory to participate in this event.
